Any gun owners?

Our Canadian firearm laws sucks, but I recently obtained a gun license excited to do some plinking this summer You can say I shoot people and targets for fun.

You could say that, but a gun owner should be especially careful to consider the ramifications of public words and deeds. Just saying'...

does the license give you permission to kill, like 007 had? i bet if it did, they'd sell a lot of those licenses.

how about this...you buy a license - and it can be expensive - but it gives you permission to kill one person with your gun in your lifetime. in the open market system you can sell your one kill to someone, and you can go to this market and buy additional kills for your gun too, assuming you have the money.

i think that might work. i bet Kevlar sales would surge.

City council meetings would certainly get a lot more interesting. I'd imagine we'd see fewer eminent domain cases...............

Yep. everything from a .223 to a .50bmg. Joke is that the local SWAT team comes to me when they need something.

Nice thing here is we can own anything short of a nuclear missile. Short barreled rifles/shotguns, full auto, suppressors and now we can carry concealed.

Fellow Canadian, fully licensed/certified and 'scoped, but now I hunt with a Canon. ('scoped = full internal check)

Real PITA up here to get licensed, so I can understand the excitement, but don't be using that saying too often or in the wrong place. Just takes one PC idiot to create a major headache for you.

Happy gun owner here! I have more than I need, but never enough. The important thing, however, is to hoard the ammo.

Firearms are a part of my life, being raised with them all around me. I cannot imagine a life without them and, yes, I've tried that before but it just wasn't natural - to me.

I shoot with a .40 Sig, .270 scoped Marlin, 12 gauge Mossberg and a 7D Canon.

That's called a driver's license.
