I have the Speed Racer 2.0 which is a little bigger than the Speed Freak and can only fit the following:

7D gripped w/24-70 (hood reversed)
70-200 2.8 II (hood reversed)
550EX Flash
10-22 (hood detached)
1.4X converter
2 batteries
TT CF Card holder
CPL (sometimes 2)
Pocket Rocket, Lens Pen, Microfiber cloth

Even with those items it can get a little tight. I think you may want to consider the Speed Racer, especially if you want to fit a gripped body in it. I also don't usually use the front pocket for anything and the side pockets I leave open for a water bottle or other small odds and ends.

If I can get some time later, I'll pack it up and take a few shots of it.

MadlyAlive, thank you for that info, really appreciate it.
I was so hoping I could fit my gear list in the Speed Freak version.
After viewing a review on youtube about the speed racer I just find that bag too big :-(

You may be able to fit a gripped 50D in the Speak Freak based on the pictures on their site, but it could be tight.

Have you looked to see if there's a reseller in your area that caries ThinkTank products?

That is what I usually do first :-) But I can not get my hands on this bag easily to check it out for myself(no local store that carries TT). I will need to order it online at considerable shipping cost so preferably would like to get this done right the first time.

After looking at a few videos online it looks like it may work out for you.

Thank you very much MadlyAlive!! This bag seems perfect for me as I am sure my gear will fit in there, especially after seeing what that guy in the second movie managed to stuff in that bag!

I have a Speed Racer V1 that is very comfortable to carry, and easy to work out of.

I also have a Domke F3X that essentially carries the same gear, is comfortable and easy to work out of==yet it is so much smaller, and lighter.

Looking at your list, I think neither of those bags would do the trick.
Predict that the F2 would carry the gear in your list better than the Domke F3x

Just a thought... ;) sometimes smaller and lighter is better.

2mnycars, thank you for this useful information......and now making be doubt :-)
Any way, having read up on this Domke F2 bag and as some one on this forum said "this thing is like the Tardis on the inside!" I still have a question. After loading this F2 bag up with that gear will it not sag and pul the strap connection points towards each other when hanging of your shoulder? After all, it's canvas.

Well, it's got a rigid bottom board. If you can pack it so full that the sides closing up (given the strap at the top will be limited by the thickness of your shoulder) keep you from getting something out, you're a stronger man than I am. I top my F1x out at 35 lb - can't get much over 20-25 in an F2.

First all ThinkTank bags are super well made. I have about 4 or 5 of them.
Same with Lowe Pro and Billingham bags.

Jon is the expert with Domke bags. Retailers here don't stock them and don't have accessories. The person who I bought mine bought it from Adorama. Saved a lot. I traded a bag for it.

F2 comes with an insert. Mine has a 4 chamber insert. I carry my d300s with grip attached, and 18-200vr mounted. I carry my 70-300vr lens, plus some other stuff. no pro glass anymore, except for my 50/1.4 and sb600 flash.

Loaded like this my bagdoesn't collapse and works for me.
