It has been mentioned on a few of my threads that my images are 'soft'.

The images look fine to me & i'm hoping that it is down to my method of
file resizing & image host.

I have uploaded the same image to Photobucket & Flikr to do a little
comparison.

Would appreciate your thoughts.

1. Photobucket - resized to '#8 quality & 900 on longest side'

2. Photobucket - straight from Hard drive after pp in Lightroom

I guess photobucket is just applying some compression to your images. The Flickr one looks perfectly sharp to me.

Something is wrong with the mouth/cheeks on the photobucket version but the flicker version looks great Imo.

It's very obvious in this comparison, even on my laptop. The photobucket ones are definitely soft in the face.

I moved from Photobucket to Flickr for the same reason. Even though I have a pro account I will just let it lapse.

I used to have a Pro account which has lapsed so maybe thats
the reason?
