A few days later or a week maybe I stopped and they had gotten 50 more in.

They're a Canon authorized dealer. I ordered one item from them a few weeks ago. Chose free shipping and got it in one day, and I'm in the midwest. YMMV. Good reviews on Amazon for this seller.

It's funny because I was talking to a local shop in DE and they were reticent to keep a lot of stock as it means a big outlay of cash to stock that kind of stuff.
No consignment for camera shops.
So I guess that is why Allens sells for less as they take the risk of holding stock at their cost and hope to sell quick.
Seems to be working.
I can certainly understand a shop not wanting to invest thousands of dolars in equipment that sits on the shelf.
Kinda like what Beach Camera was doing with the 5D2.

No Uniquephoto has the cheapest price for the grip, $319 free shipping.

Allen's Camera is great. Purchased a lot of stuff from them. Unfortunately, I live in PA and paid sales tax.
