I can't believe I didn't know that! (not meaning of caveat Emptor:lol:, but that it is on the dollar) Thanks for the trivia:cool:

After reading all the 1DX stuff, I might just get a 60D for $700 something, and sell it for $600 something in a year if the new offerings are that compelling. Since I never really cared about a new camera body before, I didn't realize that announcement was not "announcement for sale in stores now/soon" but more like "We are announcing this concept, eventually you can get it".

Seems like the 5d3 came into hands relatively soon after I started reading about it on here.

Everything is relative.
Gear: 6D, Unholy Trinity:twisted: (24Lii, sigma 50A, 135L), and for the other ends of the spectrum, sigmaEX 14mm2.8 and sigmaEX 100-300F4.
Fuji X-e2, Rokinon 8 2.8 Fisheye II, Fuji 14 2.8, Fuji 18-55, Fuji 23 1.4

Actually, re-thinking it. I read it a few days ago but didn't confirm it before passing it on because it seemed to fit. I am one of those who almost never passes on information without checking it first but in this case it stuck in my head and I never bothered. Turns out it isn't entirely accurate. It isn't on the dollar bill in my pocket and I can't find any reputable history that shows it. I may have been hoodwinked. I suppose it would be easier to delete the comment and not look like a fool but I'll leave it up as a reminder to all that it's important to source and check information before assuming it is correct and passing it on. Remember this when you pass on little tidbits on facebook. :-P

I am serious....and don't call me Shirley.
