Bracket FAQ & FlashZebra had nothing. I have a 430EXII on a hotshoe http://flashzebra.com/products/0146/index.shtml (external link) which attaches to a tripod. I need a "bracket" that will go on my horizontal wheelchair armrest. The armrest is about 1" (one inch) in diameter & coated with neoprene. I simply need the "bracket" or "attachment" to have a plate with the 1/4" screw to hold the hotshoe & 430EX II. The armrest looks like this: http://www.southwestmedical.com/repl...sembly-tubular (external link) (A1a/A1b) The neoprene will keep whatever will go around the armrest from slipping. I do not mind if it has to stay on the armrest or has a bar to slide it out. Actually, for stability it would probably be better not to have a bar. I can always move the armrest off to the side or behind me.

THANK YOU in advance .

It sounds like you're looking for a clamp. There's many different kinds out there. You could try the Manfrotto Nano Clamp (external link) and get the this adapter (external link) as well. I'm sure there's more form fitting options, but they may be a bit more expensive.

Concur that a clamp would be perfect. I'd probably go for the full size super clamp though, that way you can use it for heavier stuff too.

Yes, the super clamp would fit the bill.

Yeah, if size and available real estate aren't a factor, then I'd get a Super Clamp. I figured the Nano Clamp is a bit smaller and might not get in the way. The Super Clamps are cheaper, though.

If size isn't a factor, you could probably get this (external link) as well and add a swivel adapter when you need it. That would give you some adjustability and raise the flash a couple of inches as well.

Thanks for your suggestions. "Scatterbrained" suggested the Manfrotto 035RL - Mounting clamp kit. I think it will work great. I sincerely appreciate your suggestions. I had Googled "brackets" looked at so many I was cross-eyed. Originally posted this under Accessories & Storage. Scatterbained replied there and now y'all come up with basically the same answer. Many, Many Thanks. Especially My eyes Thank You.:D
