There is no kid with a snorkel trying to retrieve it unsuccessfully or a boat or anything....too much sky as well. The subject matter is just completely NOT still life, and almost annoying for the most part because it is color and the soccer ball is modern. Other than that you got a nice sky and a nice reflection on the water. Your sky-to-water gradient is very nice. For a stop-and-snap *thumbs up*

The ball (soccer/football) kinda makes you say wtf is that doing there, like there is a story behind it. Colors all really pop, and the composition is nice. It's not like you stacked a bunch of rocks or something. If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

It makes the photo different and unexpected. There is no kid with a snorkel trying to retrieve it unsuccessfully or a boat or anything I do really like the photo Rebel XSi 450D | EFS 55-250mm f/4-5.6 | EFS 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 | EF 50mm f/1.4 | Speedlite 430ex II

Jun 18, 2012 04:25 | #11 That's not a football. It might be a soccer ball - or some alien space probe camouflaged to look like one. In any case I think there's too much sky. Since the upper cloud is not reflected, I'd crop off the top leaving a square frame. -- Image Editing OK --
