New Lenovos...Got One Yet?

Lenovo began shipping their new models at the beginning of June.

I ordered the Thinkpad T530 and is supposed to arrive on Monday. Hope to post something of a small review in the next week. Nothing official, just photography oriented. Two major changes is the new Ivy Bridge processors and the new keyboard design. I was able to try the keyboard out on an Ideapad. IMO, I like the new design over the old one.

I was wondering if anyone has ordered one and if they have received it.

I thought about getting a W530 but decided against it since what you get for the extra $500 isn't worth it to me, since I am a student first, photographer second. I would have gone for the W530 if it had a IPS screen. But it doesn't, so I went for the T530.

Does the T530 have an IPS screen? I thought only the Lenovo x-series did.

Nope, you are correct. What I meant is that it would be worth going to the W series if it had an IPS screen. However, it doesn't so it isn't worth paying an extra $500 for the same screen I can get in the T530.
