Yesterday Alana and I went out to the beach to do some holister type shots, however as usual it was wet and windy so we had to hide out of the wind one of the shelters. Then sneaked out while it stopped for a bit for some beach hut action.

Anyways, here some shots...

These are great. I'd prefer to see the tank pulled down and not bunched above her breasts in #2.

All are very nice but I have to agree about #4....really like it. Can you let us in on the processing?

Yep all fab for me.
But deffo 4 is a stand out shot.Maybe because there it is more contrasty. Also as the above poster said I would hope to be clever enough to take images like these at some point.

Thanks guys, as for processing 95% of it was all in Lightroom, the last 5% was a little skin cleanup.

The usual extra exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites and blacks changes to make it a little punchy. Then knock the saturation down add an S curve.

I've also done a slight split tone and -20 vignette but thats only because of the lens corrections that LR removes some of the natural vignette.

The spit tone gives the sepia colour to the shadows and highlights

Here is a super quick run down of LR4 settings although im not sure how much they would help.

temp 4850
tint +1
exp -44
contrast -15

highlights -44
shadows +12
whites -100
blacks -22

clarity 0
vib 0
sat -100

Curves

highlights +36
lights +38
darks -38
shadows 0

Split Toning
hue 31
sat 13

balance +100

shadows
hue 0
sat 0

I hope that helps.

Wonderful shots, contrast is great and nice "mood" by the model. #3 is my favorite!
