I thought I would put up a separate thread for this park. Great birding in south Texas along the Mexican border.

Jeremy these web sites are so easy to set up and run. But could not find a name. got mad and just picked birds that fart. And guess what.. No one had it.. LOL

Amazing set Gary, I think its incredible that you have so much variety, and the colours of these birds are even more astounding. Great stuff!

Great South TX series - that Ladder-backed Woodpecker image is really sharp, and I like the quail picture a lot as well. Bet you didn't see too many other birders/photographers in Starr County in the summer, usually a fall-spring destination...

Well done on the set Gary! The Kiskadee is beautiful as well as the Jay. They're both on my "bucket list" for birds to see. I really have to make a trip out that direction sometime.

Thanks.. :) I was the only one there looking at birds. I was almost alone? It took three days to get the birds coming to the water and food I put out. But worth the effort. Had fun.
