First time posting here, i may have found my muse!

I've posted in the 'prime lens' and 'natural light' threads on a semi-regular basis but have never posted a thread of my own in this section before. Usually my photography revolves around band portraits and gigs, but I've been trying to get into more 'regular' portraits and for a while I've been looking for someone to work with to try out some new ideas. I was put in touch with Aoife (pronounced ee-fa for those who stuggle with Irish names lol) by a friend who shoots with me now and again. She's done a bit of modelling before and is really cool and laid back, so for someone like me just getting into directing someone and trying to explain what I want it makes it a little easier.

We met up on a pretty miserable afternoon for a bit of a mess about to get to know each other and see what kind of shots we could come up with. We're both happy with them and are hoping to get together again soon to try out some different ideas, but please let me know what you guys think.

Rock on, dude. Very nice set. They do look a bit too red and too yellow to me, but I get the style. I like how the model's dark hair in #1 separates her face from the wash-out background.

@GlimmerMan I'm colourblind so sometimes my white balance can be a little off lol. I'm using the VSCO film presets for my RAW conversions so the colour tones could be down to that, Portra 400 and 160 were used for the colour shots here if I remember correctly.

Yeah, the wind was blowing and although it caught her hair it moved her earring as well unfortunately.
