As I'm slowly upgrading to the Lee filter system I will have to use my Hitech grads for a while with the foundation kit. I see Lee makes filter mounts for 85mm filters for this. Will my Hitech filters fit the rectangular mounts, filters being 85mmx110mm? I can't seem to find the dimensions of the mounts anywhere online. Thanks

Yes, I am getting the foundation kit but want to use my Hitech filters in there for the meantime, Lee makes mounts in square and rectangular for this.

I just need to know if my hitechs will fit the rectangular mounts :)

That's going to depend on your lenses. The wider the angle, the more likely you're going to get vignetting from the frame. Then again, it's possible that those are frames for holding gel filters.

Hmm, 17-50 on a crop body at the moment is the widest. It does say on the Lee site "Filter mounts that allow 84mm filters, both square and oblong, to be used with the LEE Filter System." I've dropped them an email as well.

Thanks for the replies :)

Lee emailed back very quickly

"Thank you for your inquiry. The CCM-99 filter mounts accept filters 85mm x 99mm (this is the size of the window). The outer width is 100mm, allowing it to fit in our Foundation Kit filter holder."

So no, they won't fit :(
