Thanks Marie, here's an idea for you, find a frozen water drop, see if you can see through it, if you can, there is your shot. Thanks again for all the kind words.:D :D :D

thanks Bald Eagle
I have a little problem in understanding how you got it like so, as the water was not frozen (where you are, was it ) ?
and if there had been rain ( which you mention) the temp. is usually milder

just wondering
maybe I missed something along the way on the post, where you explained

:)

Nope, you are right, my water drop was not frozen, but, I'm sure where you are, you should be able to find a great frozen waterdop, or make one. That was my idea for your area. Since it would be very tough for me to find one here outdoors. hope this explains it better.:D :D :D

at the moment there are no frozen drops
it's cold and fresh out alright but not freezing

I know you saw this shot (url) before but it would be about the limit my lens would catch
(I don't mind):)

at first glance I had thought your shot was a frozen waterdrop

maybe humidity in your area had something to do with it's staying power

anywhich way , it's a beautiful 'catch'

Who Knows, maybe Santa will leave you an Extension Tube set under the Christmas Tree this year. As far as the shot I took, I had about 2 million drops to choose from. Thanks again for kind words, as always.:D :D :D

Neat water drop BE- I always find it annoying that if you get the refraction image in the drop exactly in focus then the drop itself is OOF :)
