I've seen many bugs, but nothing like this before, I need help finding an I.D. for this.

Stunning image great DOF and sharpness. Looks like a hairy flea.

I think that is a wooly aphid. At least that is the only thing in my Audubon Society Field Guide to North American Insects that looks anything like it. And a few searches through google images reveled similar results.

Nice pics...never seen anything like that myself.

Strange looking critter...!

If I had to guess I would assume some form of nymph.. not an adult stage yet... but of what? I have no idea.
