Man, I had the 358 but upgraded to the l758 thinking it would easier for some reason. Still trying to figure it out.

One thing I did realize is that it appears that my camera's metering is way underexposing vs what the 758 is telling me. Still have to get the target to calibrate the camera to the meter.

Course, this all very new to me, so...

4 600EX-RTs
1 ST-E3-RT
3 Nissin Di866s (2 Mk1, 1 Mk 2)
4 YN-622c for them
3 YN-560s
4 YN -603s for them

4 Einsteins with 3 VMLs. (Cyber Sync and Cyber Commander)

Just realized that only the YN-560s can not be controlled remotely in manual mode. And 7 of the speedlites can be controlled in ETTL or manual via the appropriate triggers.

Lots of lightstands, modifiers and other grip equipment.

Generally configured as 4 lighting kits that can be grabbed depending on requirements.

The Di866s started life in my kit with Control TL on my 5DIIs. When I got the 600EX-RTs and 5DIIIs I sold off the ControlTL kit and replaced it with the N-622c kit. (Useful on the 5DIIIs or on the 5DII I still have.)

I mainly do onsite youth sports pictures so this is what the light bag has in it

2x 600ex
1x st-e3-rt
2x 6ft impact light stands
2x tripods (one heavy and one ligh duty)
1x 1/2"x12"x12" wood board with tripod nut
1x 16" cheetahbox w/ mount
2x photogenic 32" white umbrellas
2x impact umbrella mounts
6x tent stakes w/ quick lock strings

I set the heavy tripod with the board to make a desk for orders.
I drop a 600ex on the light tripod as the fill light w/ or w/o an umbrella
I drop the other 600ex on the 6ft light stand with the cheetahbox or the umbrella
If there is enough wind, I stake the stands to the ground.
This is a small operation with only a few team per season.
All but the flashes are left in the car.
