The only Owls I've been able to photograph are rehabilited Owls that were released back into the wild. I do know of a Great Horned Owls nest but they seem to perch about 80'-90' up in Pine trees and I refuse to photograph something so small at such a steep angle.
Eastern Screech Owl about to be released.
I attended the release of 6 young Barn Owls over the winter...an amazing bird to see up close.
This is the lady that rehabilitated the Owls and other wildlife. She was happy with this image and it was used in a local paper when they did a story about the release and the rehabilitator.
I think this is the lady that brought the 6 homeless Owls to the rehabilitator.
