They are my favorite Owl. Maybe I have to come to Vancouver to find one lol! I know they are supposed to be somewhere around here but I have never seen one. Deer, Lynx, Eagles, Moose but no Owls wah!!

They are out there. Just need to get out in the country and find them. Most of the Owls like to hang out around farmers fields and sit on fence posts, and the very tip of the trees in a lot of cases.

When I go for a drive out in the woods I am at best driving 5-10 KM an hour and scanning the tree tops and fields. This is how I have been successful. I do on occasion break out the snowshoes and come across some in the woods. Bring a flash though, if you are gonna do that, a lot of times unless you are shooting a 2.8 lens its pretty dark to capture shots of them sitting in trees in the woods.

Bottom line is you just gotta get out and find em :)
