Most people soon learn about picture styles, of which six exist "in" the 60D. Canon supplies additional files that can be installed on most Canon DSLR's. Seven new styles exist at http://web.canon.jp …turestyle/file/index.html (external link). Instructions on how to install are near the bottom of the page. In particular I have come to like the "snapshot portrait" sytle for candid work.

Very true, John

You can use the Canon utility Picture Style Editor to create your own

Or you can download the 26 picture styles Kevin Wang has donated to the public domain.

So heres a question ... 2 actually.

1 - Do all EOS DSLR's use Picture Styles?
2 - Are Picture Styles interchangeable between models

I tried to look for it on the Linked page don't see any info.

It's my understanding all Canon DSLR's use "styles" although the manner in which they are accessed may be model specific.

CORRECTION, some of the early models call it something else but are covered in the FAQ's section at the website referenced.
