Good concept, not so good execution. The dark vignette kills it for me. Either its a silhouette or there are details to be seen.

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

I think I see why you might like it. The clouds and the spikes together, right where it looks like they interact? If so, try cropping for that.

I like it. Nice. Dark. Moody. Austere. The perspective works great because we are lead to the clouds and then forced back into the frame with the heavy vignetting at the top. The horizontal panoramic format works great for this image. Repeated fence sticks which force our eye to the wisps of cloud. I would take the not sharp fence stakes and mask them off and sharpen them up a bit. Looking to improve edges but not surrender color mass. High pass or unsharp masking will work.

I think the crop bugs me. I see how the horizontal wire sits at the bottom third, but I'm finding the tips of the sticks all ending up around 1/2 way up to bother me like putting the horizon there often does.

It looks like something I'd shoot--I definitely like the instinct to shoot it.

I like this concept. Looks spooky. Don't like the vignetting of the sky. I think if the sky were light it would be more meaningful.

cheers for the feedback guys - I think im going to abandon this one. There's plenty of opportunity round these parts to take the shot again, and do it better.
