so i got a chance to look at the refurb page tonight and they had the 7Ds listed as in stock...
i quick called and talked to some lady who didnt sound too interested in helping me so after she started to transfer my call to tech support, i lost the call...
i redialed and went through the menu to tech support myself. told them about my EOS 650 film camera, the tech told me they stopped working on them in 2000 and did i have an EF lens to which i replied in the affirmative...
i was then transferred to sales (i guess) or the loyalty program people and i have a 7D enroute after they get my trade-in, in...
my cost $1152...
its not the same as walking out the door of Best Buy with one RIGHT NOW but its $755 cheaper!
pretty geeked. i know i posted 2 or 5 times about the differences between the 7 and the 550 (or T2i) that i have and while the 7 doesnt really fit my hand as neatly as the 550 with a grip, it certainly has advantages in shooting capabilities...
