Speaking of "warmish spring days", one of our daughters asked if they could play outside in the sprinkler (one week ago we had snow).

Finally got the second one on with only a couple of small bubbles. It shows finger smudges worse than than the screen, itself. Not sure if it's worth it.

That's a great shot. Just curious, which lens did you use for that?

Any good ones out there? I've been using some cheapo universals from Walmart. They pretty much suck for bubbles and clarity but are cheap enough to be disposable. My LCD still looks like new and doesn't affect functionality of the touch screen so it does what I want it to. Zagg has one too. I use them on my phone and it is great but haven't sprung for the camera...yet.

At first I was having problems with the shrunken controls (I've got pretty big hands), but the fit and feel of the T4i is finally starting to grow on me. All I've done so far is set it for back button focus, figure out where I needed to go to adjust FEC, turn the dial to M and I'm good to go for photos. Now I'm thinking that I ought to at least learn the basics of shooting video with it since that capability is there, I'm not really into doing video but it won't cost me anything to give it a try.

Might be something to spend more $$ on... ![]() It's funny you should mention that, as I had purchased one on ebay and it just arrived yesterday. Definitely makes it nicer for shooting vertical. But now the camera barely fits in my ancient camera bag (which is so old it has loops for film canisters) along with my XSi, flash, and small lens collection, so I suppose I need to start shopping for a new bag. (Will this never end ?!?!?! )

If you are coming from a Canon 20D... would you go for the T3i or is the T4i a better option for the money? Meaning, is there a big enough difference between the two to warrant getting the T4i? I'd bet there's plenty of opinions on this, but you probably ought to go to Canon's website and compare the specs and features and decide if the added features are worth it to you. I just got my T4i a week ago and so far I think it's well worth the money. 2. My 20D lenses will fit the T3i/T4i correct? Probably a dumb question but I went there anyway. lol Any EF or EF-S lens, plus the new STM lenses. 3. if I read correctly.... the T3i/T4i's take SD cards? My 20D has the CompactFlash card. Yep.
