For Amanda, I am using a Video camera so I get action footage and not just pics.

try and get the basic set up...18-55IS, 55-250IS, and a prime...assuming you still have the flash in your gear list, you'd be able to do quite a lot with that set up...

i'd vote like dredaze with the exception of adding t5he 50 f1.8 for a fast prime - just have to use foot zoom sometimes lol

Now that the reasons are clear (and I'm sorry to hear about the job, but happy about the child on the way) I'd say:

Sigma 30mm f1.4
Canon 55-250 IS

Not sure what I'd do with the wide end...
