A recent project (external link)

Produce in a very short time frame. Unfortunately I had to change/add some additional voice over bits and didn't have time to redo the lot so that irks me somewhat. The original voice over wasn't great quality as it was only added for reference with the intention of someone else doing the final voice over. The Client liked the original (no accounting for Clients ;)) so the convenience, and time saving, of leaving it outweighed any thought of arguing.

I shot on three visits and the sun only came out on the morning of the final day which was the morning prior to the project being delivered that evening.

Richard is an absolute star and has agreed to be involved in subsequent projects which will be tailored to the specific needs of each department.

Richard was a great help all round. I was a little nervous of the project and when I showed Richard some of the early edit (produced prior to the morning we filmed him) his view was "Stop fannying around. People come here because they are dying. Say it, and stop beating around the bush." It seemed fine if Richard said it because he is and has accepted it. I still had problems.

Yeah I don't know if I could walk into a Hospice with that attitude either

Never thought of places like that to advertise but it seems so obvious now. Did you approach them or vice versa?

Overall nice little project here as it pretty much covers what they do in a respectful way.

The hospice contacted me through one of their volunteers. As noted at the end I gifted my time as they have little money to spend on advertising and it seemed like the right thing to do. It was certainly a worth while experience and would recommend anyone give it a go.

Great job and that was very thoughtful of you to volunteer your time and understanding there wasn't too much money involved. Glad you went through with it and the video was pretty good and informative.
