So....I've been putting off sending my 7D in for service due to not wanting to be without it and the cost of repair since it was a over a year since I purchased a refurbished model. The time had come when I just had to have it fixed. This was the first time that I've sent used Canon for service. My issue was with an intermittent ERR 20 message and the camera not reading the batteries.

The camera was received by Canon on Friday of last week. Monday morning, I got an e-mail stating the receipt and inspection of the camera and that the camera would be repaired at NO CHARGE and shipped back within 7 days. Yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) the camera arrived back at my doorstep. I just can't imagine service to be any better!

As for the repair " A part was out of position causing error 20 to be displayed. Product functions confirmed. Repaired bottom PCB screw. Adjusted exposure & focus, cleaned C-mos and checked all factory specs. Updated firmware"

I'm a happy camper :D.

Jamesburg, NJ. I used it based on feedback in this forum and because of the proximity of where I live.

If I need service on one of my cameras or lenses, I know where I'm going to go now.
