I was just curious to see what custom alerts some of you set up for google analytics to help you monitor the progress of your site and keep track of events on a daily / weekly basis.
So far I've just been using an alert I named 'big hit' - set up to let me know when I have > x number of hits on my site on a given day. Oh, yes, I've also set up alerts to tell me when a certain page is getting > x number of hits. The latter was especially helpful in my taking a page more seriously and better tailoring it to the traffic that was coming in.
What alerts do you put in place ? and how do you respond to them ?
