I just want to pass on to anyone who doesn't know already that smugmug partnered with WHCC a while back. While Bay Photo always provided good service and products when I needed them, I had been wanting to try WHCC for some of my larger and in particular metallic prints.
I received my first order from them today and to say I was initially impressed with the packaging alone is an understatement. Nothing short of a nuclear disaster was going to hurt the contents of the box the prints arrived in. I seriously think the UPS man could have walked on the package several times and couldn't have put a dent in it. Bubble wrap, cardboard inserts and dividers helped insure the product arrived in the same condition it left the lab.

And the quality of the prints themselves was mind blowing. I have compared the other metallic prints I have and there is a difference that you can detect. Overall quality is just what I heard and expected from WHCC and they delivered in spades.:D

My sister, the professional baker and cake decorator once told me that my camera takes great pics. My reply was that I thought her oven baked great cakes.

Thanks and yes the entire family enjoyed the prints. I am a very difficult customer I must admit sometimes to satisfy, but when a company excells in the packaging, speedy delivery and overall quality of the received product I am going to let others know what a pleasant experience it was doing business with them.
I guess I should shower some of that praise on SmugMug since they did make it a reality to do business with my now favorite lab. I look forward to working with both companies in the future.
