Is it necessary to uninstall ML before installing the new firmware?

Theres a new canon firmware update?

Magic Lantern Unified (external link)

There is a detailed Install guide and User guide just below the Download links in the box at top right.

I think currently it only works on 1.1.0 for the 60D.

I have a question.... why is it when a thread hits 10,000 is it necesssary to close it down and start a new thread? Couldn't it work to just let it grow to 20,000 or 50,000 or higher? I am just curious on this is all. Thanks!

David would know. Hes asked me if I could make the new one but I think its mainly because easier for the mods to monitor but who knows.
