This shot is awesome!
Thanks! Had a few extra hours at the Denver airport due to flight delays and missed connections. The next flight segment was delayed too...

Maybe try a little bit of a Curves adjustment to make it "pop" a tad more. Just a gentle "S" curve to open the highlights and darken the shadows a bit. Thank you, Pekka! I'm sure some members here might have imagined that POTN might begin winding down. But that doesn't make the news any less disappointing. So generous of you to allow us to go along for the ride. As a result you gave us a way to help each other become better photographers. But there's still so much more to learn.

treebound Senior Member More info | Feb 15, 2013 10:10 | #3351 Thanks for the input. The light was not great that day so I plan to re-shoot it maybe at sunset to try and get what I want out of it. Then I'll start to try my hand at post processing, that was SOC in jpeg so next I'll begin to run raw as I begin to learn this camera's controls. =====

BurnUnit Senior Member More info | Feb 16, 2013 09:52 | #3358 The other shots you posted with this look fine, but my eye keeps coming back to this one. It's technically imperfect but I find it the most powerful of the batch. I seem to be seeing faces thru the glass as well as reflected in the glass, which gives it a nice depth. Very dreamlike. If I were hypnotized, this is what I imagine recovered memories look like. Thank you, Pekka! I'm sure some members here might have imagined that POTN might begin winding down.
