wow.
I didnt even make it to the first page of the new thread.
I saw there was a firmware update but I thought it only fixed some
serial # issue.
Im not going to bother for just that.

I have a question.... why is it when a thread hits 10,000 is it necesssary to close it down and start a new thread? Couldn't it work to just let it grow to 20,000 or 50,000 or higher? I am just curious on this is all. Thanks!

It's Peka's (POTN owner) way of doing it. He prefers keeping threads under 10 000 post. From what I've been told, it's easier for the mods.

I just follow along ;)

I like it a lot. Seems like its gonna stay on my body for a good, long time. Its a bit more manageable to use indoors. Its easy to pick up and use. I think its a gateway drug to further delve into primes. Not that the 50 1.8 wasn't fuel enough! I think I may need an 85 1.8 now.

I am finding myself wanting to walk out the door and take pictures, but need some subjects! I may go to Roswell, NM for an alien/comic book/general awesomeness convention this weekend, just to test out its use as a "street" lens. That or hit White Sands up.

Anyone have any suggestions, shoot.

I have an engagement shoot next week, I am gonna pair this with the 50 and see whats up. Use this one first, and use the 50 as a closer.

*** I think I am gonna through it on the film body too, and see it at actual 35MM.

I'd like to see less of that "opaque-y vintage" effect everyone's fond of overusing.

Check out my feedback here.

Massive threads are hell on the database...And can slow down the site if left to grow too big.
