Thanks @Radders. Yes, the Sigma 17-70 Contemporary really is great. Great combination with the 60D.

Caught this one mid flight, think it was Iso 2500 so was happy with the clarity too

I also have the Sigma 150-500, but I have not gotten anything as good as this photo you displayed here. Was this SOOC (straight out of camera) or did you do some sharpening to it?

This was a raw shot, sharpened to 50 on lightroom 5 slider then straight processed to jpeg so nothing major at all mate. :)

Got to say i'm not a superb fan of the 60d's jpegs but thats just me, I find them slightly soft and lacking everynow and then.

But it depends on the work load, if I am shooting cars then its always jpeg as I need the images to the company within 24hours, if its a wedding or portrait then its always raw as I think the 60D captures superb detail and is a phenominal camera but for some reason I find the jpeg sooc just lack something every now and then.
