I have two 60Ds for my job (real estate photography) and one puked out on me the other day. In April of 2013, the shutter assembly was replaced by Canon CPS after having over 108,000 actuations. I haven't reached that number again yet, but I'm sure I'm close to 75-80K. Anyway, I'm planning on sending it out tomorrow morning to CPS for repairs, and I just want to make sure I know what I'm looking at here. With no lens attached and placed in sensor cleaning mode, here is what I see. Is the black, 4 layered plastic "curtain" covering the sensor actually the shutter assembly? It's stuck there and the camera will not capture an image because of that. Pardon my ignorance if it's that obvious, but I just want to use the proper terminology in my repair description request when I send it out.
