Can I ask why you chose a shutter speed of 1/800 and iso 1000? I'm just curious. At 8mm you could have lowered the shutter and I so quite a bit, or I would have. Nice shot by the way. Just wondering why you chose those settings. _______________

Nov 03, 2015 10:08 | #6830 To be honest, I had set the ISO higher before for some darker shots with the 'normal zoom'. Frankly, I don't pay attention to the ISO unless I have to go over 1600. I get stingy after 1600, or if it is so bright that I have to get down to ISO 100. Gerry

I bought mine when they first came out and took some crap about buying the 'super rebel' where the flippy screen was guaranteed to break off in the first week and the poly carb body would never last. Thinking back, I just smile...never had a lens it didn't like either. No need for MFA on my copy.

Anymore, if and when I change bodies I would do my best to NOT buy a body without the flip screen! Charles
