I have been trying to shoot something different, and grow my skills. I really never shoot people, mainly just macro and landscape, so this has been fun. What do you guys think?

ISO 100, f/4.0, shutterspeed at 1/60.

I've found that if you open these older lenses with this adapter, it really washes out the photos. So I stop it down, up the ISO, and increase the shutter speed to create a balance.

This was shot on a tripod as well. So hopefully this will give those considering this adapter a better idea of what it can and can't do. I think it does a pretty good job for $20. If you have questions as to which one I ordered from Amazon (there are a few) just PM me and I'll make sure you get the right one (price is up now, though :/ ).

You're off to a good start! I'd crop this, take away some of the sky and a wee bit on the left & bottom.
I find cropping the easiest and most powerful way to make a good picture better. Don't accept the given ratio that comes out of the camera :)

Well caught, I like the colour version better. The slight motion blur on the foot adds to the effect.

You reminded me that I wanted to try a "cup of warm bokeh" technique too. EF 50mm F1.4 @ F3.5, 1/5 sec, ISO 200.

Great idea and shot! Love it.

I have been installing NIK Silver EFEX this weekend, trying it out on some shots from London earlier this summer:

The very first picture is the best in the set for me. The sun shot with the bump is also awesome. I'm shooting a pregnant friend today so that gave me a great idea :)

This is a really good shot. I assume you used the 400mm + 2xTC?
