for an all-inclusive trip to the Dominican Republic.

I know, I know, it varies from person to person, from place to place, but I'd still like to hear all your world travelers' thoughts.

We're taking our [POSTponed] honeymoon in a few weeks and I want to take a "skeleton kit" for some great pics. Obviously the trip is not photographically-centered, but I'd still like to take some gear. My wife will have her Canon SX230HS (pink of course!) with us, and I was thinking of bringing my:

60D
Sigma 30mm f/1.4
Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8
Metz AF 50-1
my tripod packed in checked baggage

I was mulling over trying to find a way to squeeze in my Tamron 70-300mm, but the more I thought about it the more I couldn't justify it. So am I thinking correctly here? I mean is a tele-zoom like this THAT useful on the property? The only excursions we're planning on are the horseback riding thing on the beach and a round of golf. Other than that we'll pretty much be on the property.

Anyone's input is greatly appreciated! :) Thanks.

Gear: 5DIII; 6D; Canon 16-35 f/4L; Canon 24-70II f/2.8L, Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 VC; Sigma 35mm f/1.4A; Sigma 105mm f/2.8 Macro; Phottix Mitros+;580exii; Metz AF 50-1

Do you expect to need allot of low light shooting? Based on my honeymoon (Aruba) I would probably just bring 17-50 and the tripod. If you want to do a nice hdr; you still can; but I wouldn't mess around with primes/flash. *maybe* 17-50 and 70-300 for wildlife shots; but that that depends what you're planning on doing there.

I guess the reason I had the Sigma on the brain was for evening time around the resort, though thinking about it more, if 2.8 isn't going to cut it, 1.4 probably won't be the miracle I was thinking it would be.
Most of the pics will be around the resort, probably a sunrise or two; stuff like that.
