Just returned from a wonderful trip to Saranac Lake, NY. Here are a couple beautiful birds that allowed us to share the swimming pond with them.

They always seem to stay wayyy out from shore.. near the midde, they're so black to expose properly without blowing out the water/background, they're often diving, and they just sit low.. so most of them is submerged.
