It's only been a week but I am really enjoying this camera.
No more missed opportunity.
For example, I was riding my bicycle outside a bird sanctuary when I saw a couple of deer.
I quickly stopped and pulled my camera out. I got a couple of shots before he bolted away. If it was my DSLR. I would have stopped, pull the camera out of my bag, attach my 100-400mm, then shoot. I'm sure by the time I finished all of this steps, the subject would have been gone. From now on when I'm riding. I'll put my SX40 on a sling so I'm much more quicker in accessing it.
Here's what I got. It's not great but no more missed opportunity.
Another good example is when I am driving. My work requires me driving to some remote areas. Therefore at times I do see wildlife. But again by the time I get my gears out. The subject are usually gone or too far away.
I still have a long way before I really know my way around this camera but so far I am really liking it.
