Was sitting quietly photographing Pika - when a shrill scream and rumble in the rocks caught out attention - swung the cameras in the direction of the sound and started to shoot - a coyote had caught a Marmont - it was fighting but no match for the coyote - but this is what happens in the wild of Yellowstone

Interesting shots, Marcy, and very well done considering how hurried you had to have been to get situated and focused in time. Oftentimes I'll try for a quick shot of something going on and misfocus horribly, so very well done.

Some excellent work here, Marcy. You are having a fantastic trip. Many KUDOS.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

Circle of life. Great capture! That is a huge Marmont, ours are not nearly that big.
