I just came across this thread and can't believe I missed it. Besides the aviation, when is the next Baltimore meet - I will plan on being there.

I just found this forum group and joined today(8-26-09) I realize this is a older thread, but it's new to me. If you good folks are looking for some beautiful places in Maryland, I would like to suggest Western Marland.
We have in Cumberland the Western Maryland Rail road pulled by a steam loco. There is the Sidling Hill cut just before you get to Cumberland. There is the Antietam Battlefield in Washington co. out side of Hagerstown. The C&O Canal and its towpath, great for a bicycle trip.
Ya'll gotta come see whats out here west of Fredrick.!!! :lol:
