Hey everyone,Ive done alittle research on the new PW 3.Seems nice but i think if i read correctly it doesnt do ettl.Im currently using the catcus v5.Works fine.Im close to getting a 430 as a second flash.

With so many options/features on the market today, what do you guys/gals recommend as far as a wireless option for true ettl support with all the bells/whistles for 2 flashes using my 7D?

I have a budget around $300.Im flexable but i need to make the right purchase.I always see those youtube vids from adoroma and the like using pocket w. with great results.Line of sight isnt that important but prefered.

Anyway sorry if i wasted a dead horse thread, but ive searched but they dont seem to narrow down my option.Tech seems to change from day to day about this does that and the like. Thanks for any and all replys.Happy shooting.

Check out THIS THREAD. . . I just orderd these, after a bit of research, for my 7D. Amazon has 1tx and 2rx for $200! Lots of YouTube video reviews on them as well.

I've never had a problem with my Phottix Odins. Guys in my area are switching out their Pocket Wizards for them.

I use the pop-up on my 60D for wireless control and A:B ratio control of two wireless off-camera 430EXs. The 7D has the same system and will do the same with your 580EX and 430EX. It works great at the distances Canon specifies.
