New 60D...Error 20

Long time lurker, first time poster.
Finally upgraded to a 60D from an XT. I was so excited when the UPS guy arrived today that I badly scraped my ankle as I was running to the front door. Limping and bleeding, I quickly charged up the battery, thinking I can go out and try out my new toy after work. But NOOO... I got the dreaded Error 20. I followed the instructions to power off and remove the battery, but no luck. Tried different lenses...same error message. I guess the darn thing is DOA. Of course, B&H closed early today.
I tried to search for info re: error 20, but I really couldn't find much. Is this a common issue with the 60D?

No issues with my 60d and it has been with me for almost a year now.

This is definitely the first time I ever heard of a 60D getting error 20...terrible news to hear, mines been with me since Feb 2011. :S

Did a google search about err 20 and Canon 60D. Lots of people are getting them. This probably happens because of a mass produced camera body. I'm sure the amount of bad cameras is a minute amount compared to the number of cameras produced. Most of them said they returned the camera and got a new one in return.

Error 20 appears to be some sort of mechanical error.

That's too bad. I'm sure B&H will make things right but I can imagine your disappointment.

Yes, it is disappointing as I had my weekend planned around it! Oh well, I am sure B&H will make it right. I think I just needed to vent... Thanks!
