I would prefer to have 2 CF slots, because the SD slot is slower than the CF

That's would be ideal but SD is fine for me since I don't shoot fps.

Last night I did some controlled ISO 100 image quality comparisons between the 5D II and 5D III. No improvement on the 5D III. I like the subtle way the 5D III rendered color better, but the 5D II is actually a hair sharper (serious pixel-peeping was required to see the difference and I think it's probably the 5D III's AA filter). Anyway, ISO 100 image quality is nearly the same with an overall very slight edge to the 5D III for (just like the color and tones more).

I feel that, as a whole, ergonomics (which includes the revamped AF system) is what makes the 5D III special. Special enough for the cost of upgrade? Tough call, but I'm saying yes.

For me, clearly, this is not at all a revolution or even an improvement in the IQ department. There are big and small differences that make the whole experience a lot better- new AF system, more FPS, electronic level, better ergonomics, better LCD, I think a bit better high ISO, etc.

I have purchased MKII for 2700 USD and I have purchased MKIII for 2900 USD, so overall....not a big difference.
