It now has 267 clicks on the shutter. The outing was to a varsity high school volleyball tournament. At that level, the play is fast, and movement is not easily predictable like that of a runner. In my opinion, it is one of the hardest sports to shoot, and really tests the AF system. I've been shooting the sport for about five years with a 1D Mark III. For this outing I shot ambient, 14 fps, manual exposure, Case 6 default settings, AI servo, manual point selection with expansion to the surrounding 8 points (slightly above center in portrait orientation), AI servo 1st image priority set to focus, and AI servo 2nd image priority set to equal, AWB under fluorescent lighting, and RAW. I usually shoot in bursts of 2 to 5 shots. First sequence using the 135 F2L. Target player was #2, middle hitter. ISO 8000, f2.5, 1/1000. The images were imported into LR4, and the exposure was brought down 1/2 stop because they were overexposed. No other adjustments were made, and they were exported and converted to JPEG at the largest file setting. These are clicks 131 - 135 on the camera.
Cropped and adjusted using LR only:
I need to make a correction. 1DX, 1DIII, lenses, flashes, wires and stuff

The 1DX WB is really good and far better than my 5D2 which didn't cope at all with indoor sports shots like yours. Great to know, thank you for that.
