What amazes me the most about this camera, is that if you have a clear view of the object, you just can't miss the shot! I shot a burst of 6 shots in this series and all were in focus and sharp! :D

WOW! That is one heck of a shot. I'm about to piss my pants looking at this Grizzly about to charge at me. And unbelievable detail for an ISO 6400 shot. Incredible!

According to the EXIF the shot was at 180mm YIKES

It was either a bluff charge or chasing a salmon. Great shot BTW!

I'll join and add that that is a very cool shot.

Inquiring minds want to know - was that taken in the wild, and was it charging of shaking off water?

bigcountry That bear shot really is amazing. Seems like it should be magazine-bound. I think you're heading toward the goal stated in your sig!

BTW, that bear is almost certainly chasing a salmon like I thought. His other shots on the website have them chewing on fish.

That shot is killer for a professional wildlife photographer, let alone a wedding photographer! :D

The bear shots on his site that I looked at were taken with a 1DIV. And the one posted does not appear to be on his site.

All great shots. It would be interesting to know more about them.

Hi. The bear shots on the website were two years ago. I am in the middle of my Alaskan adventure w my fiancé and we just finished the bear portion.

The bear photo above was taken of a bear running from another bear...more later. 1dx is amazing.
