I have 1d mk3, 70-200 2.8 is I and 300 2.8 is I what you mean if I sell my 1d mk3, 70-200 2.8 is I and 300 2.8 is I, and buy 1dx, 70-200 f4 (non IS) and 300 f4 is? good or bad idea? iso on 1dx between 12800 and 25600, is for me awesome.. now at 1d mk3 i don't want to put up iso higher than 2000... sorry for my bad english.. ![]() Sell mkIII and 70-200 but keep 300 2.8IS, this lens is a powerful lens even with years, i feel this lens doesn't get aged and only the newer lens can make it look old, i am happy with my 300 2.8 on my 1DX and i never look back, i even don't take out my 1D3 out of my bag at all, i even don't touch my 70-200 mkII much unless i shoot something closer that i can't do with 300. Wow to be able to capture that bird with a 85L wide open is pretty awesome.

Not that I have a 1DX. But I have the EXACT same carving that I bought in Jakarta.....lol 5D Mark IV | 7D Mark II | 100-400L II | 24-105L | 50MM f/1.4 | 85MM f/1.8 | Sigma 1.4x TC | 580EX II | 430EX II |

It was at 50% when I stuck it on the charger. The other battery which only had the one card had one bar down. It's pretty crazy! I dont seem to be getting anywhere that sort of battery life. Mine shows 50-60% after only 1000 odd shots, and no, I dont have image preview turned on at all. I am shooting an extreme sports event covering both wakeboarding and freestyle motorcross during the day and then straight from them onto shooting the nitro funny cars at night at the drag racing. I wont have opportunity to recharge my battery between any of the events, and I dont really trust it to last covering all three events in the one day, so I just purchased a new spare battery. (not cheap either. $199 retail) Oh come on Mike
