Beautiful, great light well captured.

That's typical for Canon Elstree. No discussion, you'll just get your gear back with a very brief note as to what's been done.

Thanks Mark

Spent today on the lake wake boarding with family and friends...

One of my daughter showing how not to do it, a couple of a mate showing how it should be done and my daughter's boyfriend in the ski tube. :-)

The engineer called me this morning! Apparently the camera and lens were both front focusing - too much to be fixable by MA.

Both sorted out and calibrated under the camera warranty. Should get them back tomorrow. Sweet! Can't wait!

Sounds good. Their turn around is pretty quick. Surprised you got a phone call TBH. Maybe they do read this forum!

Another shot taken with the 1dx & Sigma 120-300 lens combo. Hand held from the stands under lights.

Also about a 60% crop to remove all of the background distractions, yet still fairly sharp.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is somebody from Canon customer service who is a member here and kind of keeps an eye on things, like Helen does for Adorama, or another guy (not sure of his name) for B&H.
