Next at F5,6 .. but DOF is definitely inadequate.. for such tight portrait F8 was the most suitable. So results are better with Photoshop CC than I never had with CS6 or CS5, far from perfect, but still convincing. Marc

It's much better now so f/11 and narrower are again useable. Saying that, the shot below which I took yesterday was at f/8, using my 300mm f/2.8 IS II + 1.4x TC III:
