It's a big hunk of cash to put on my credit card after all. Be VERY interested to hear from any of you that made the same swap. Thanks .DAVID. I made this jump. My 1D4 had over 200K shots on it but still worked great. But to be honest, I wanted the 1DX for the better ergo feel and better display screen. I kept my backup rig, 1D3 and still love it. Tareq "I am very lazy, a normal consumer" More info | Nov 12, 2014 02:48 | #6570 I didn't make any jump, but the last Canon body i have before 1DX was 1Ds3 and i bought 1D3 even before that for sports, and i was planning to upgrade from 1D3 to 1D4 but situations didn't allow me to get 1D4 until it is gone as brand new, then i bought 1DX, and WOW, this body made it like it is a big jump, i may not see that jump from 1D4 to 1DX, but from 1D3 to 1DX it is quit a jump for me and i don't use 1D3 at all even as a backup.
