Yeah - managed to get out for the first time today with the 1DX (only been a month since I got it), pretty uninspiring but enjoyed the walk nonetheless. Managed a few that were okay - handheld 300 2.8 with the 2x extender so all at 600mm

#1 a stonechat I believe

One of mine from tonight. It was almost pitch black when I took the shot. I used my headtorch to light up the beach. The glow in the sky is the light from Sellafield.
