Hi everyone, can somebody tell whether the RAW files from this body are editable in DPP3 or do I need to move to DPP4? Tia.

I really forgot about DPP completely, i get used to use it in the past, but then i just stayed with Photoshop and i forgot completely about DPP.

To be honest, it is always better to upgrade to latest versions whenever you can, you can try DPP3 first, if you have the camera give it a try, if you don't have we can send you files and try to open it, if it works then great, if not then you know what is the solution.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I don't have the 1Dx yet, I was just wondering if DPP3 would open the files. None of the edits made in DPP3 on my RAW files from my previous bodies would carry over in to DPP4 so it would mean running both versions.

I'm rather enjoying having usable higher ISOs and using Auto ISO in one of the Custom Settings. I'm looking forward to a more normal summer of outdoor music and other events shortly, with a longer and faster lens attached for action, but the 1DX really is a great all rounder . . .

Still using my 1DX as a remote camera for behind the goals work. Managed to get a few shots to make the effort worthwhile.

1DX set up beside the track and fired remotely for some BSB pre-season testing. Weather conditions were cold, but sunny and thankfully dry for a change.

Hello, Im new to the forum and joined mostly bc I cant find many other photogs running this combination - I just picked up a Sigma 500mm f4 for my 1DXIII - I wanted to ask you about some focusing issues at f4, not focus shift but more AF tuning related (yes, I have internet researched my fingers off). Not to hijack this thread... Is there a way you can PM me?

Thanks in advance for letting me pick your brain!

I suggest to seach on YouTube for "Canon Rudy Winston" and see what comes up that fits your needs.
