What is it? What does it do? Good or safe? Pros and cons?

I don't really see much reason to use it on the S100, except maybe auto-ISO features or the ISO100 limit for long exposures. I used CHDK on my SD70IS which enabled RAW and a bunch of things, but the camera's processor was so slow that I did not see much point in using it. Sony A6000, 16-50PZ, 55-210, 35mm 1.8 OSS

Then you can run motion detect scripts Hans
